There's so much bad Chianti that it's a wine-lover's duty to support the people who make the good stuff, like the Cattaneos. Their Riserva has come together beautifully in four years, showing intense dark cherry, clean fruit, and a mahogany background. Lively, with brandied cherries and integrated tannins, it still has a ways to go.
