One hectare of old alberello vines at 800 meters above sea level in the community of Randazzo on the slopes of Etna. Spontaneous fermentation, 2 weeks maceration, aged in used barrels for 1 year. Produced by Federica and Cesare, young farmer couple working organically. Volcanic soil imparts a smoky character to this floral, spicy, medium-bodied wine. Red cherry, leather, raspberry mingle with firm tannin and earth. Deep and mouthfilling, made for food.
